The pairing of inn and restaurant provides an unusual opportunity for sampling freshly prepared home-style Czech food. Beer at the restaurant is drawn under the supervison of Lukáš Svoboda, the 2010 Pilsner Urquell International Master Bartender, and served directly from the tanks in which it is brewed.
The tastefully appointed rooms and suites offer every modern convenience and guests may expect to draw on a wide range of services. The close proximity of the Charles bridge and the setting – the district known as Malá Strana – conspire to create the illusion of history drawing nearer.
U bílé kuželky, the building in which the inn is housed, was designed by the Bohemian Baroque architect Kryštof Dientzenhofer as a family dwelling. Its construction took seven years, from 1708 to 1714, and it has been designated a national cultural treasure.
